Looking for a new challenge?
Join our specialist Hoarding Advocacy Support Service (HASS) and help people create safer homes, build independence, and achieve meaningful change.
As a HASS Recovery Worker, you will provide recovery-oriented, trauma-informed support to people experiencing hoarding behaviours. This unique role combines therapeutic engagement with practical, hands-on assistance, helping participants work towards their goals while improving safety and wellbeing.
Please note: This is not a desk-based case management role. A significant part of this position involves working directly in homes affected by moderate to severe hoarding, supporting participants with sorting, organising, decluttering, and reducing risks. Applicants must be comfortable working in cluttered environments and supporting people through behaviour change using a compassionate, non-judgemental approach.
