About the role
As our Diocesan Secretary, you will be pivotal in ensuring that all Diocese of Bunbury entities maintain statutory compliance and high governance standards.
(Please note that this role requires tasks beyond a standard secretary's remit.)
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
delivering strategic advice/implementing policies from Synod and Diocesan committees
guiding leadership on governance principles, director duties and regulatory updates
managing Board processes (incl. agendas, minutes & meeting schedules)
ensuring accurate record-keeping and regulatory compliance
coordinating between Diocese, parishes & stakeholders on governance matters
driving strategic planning and implementation of organisational goals.
What we're looking for
Full Australian working rights essential
Min. 3+ years senior corporate governance experience (ideally in church or non-profit sectors)
Proven multitasking abilities & deadline management
Demonstrated ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
Knowledge of Anglican Church structures and governance
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
