About the role

We are seeking a focused and motivated Sales Consultant to join our team at our Currimundi, Queensland location. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving our sales performance and building lasting customer relationships. As a Sales Consultant, you will be the face of Coastline BMW, responsible for showcasing our premium vehicle range and closing sales whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This role is integral to our business success and offers excellent opportunities for personal and professional growth within the automotive sales sector.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage potential customers, understanding their needs and preferences to recommend suitable BMW vehicles

• Conduct product demonstrations and highlight the unique features and benefits of our vehicle range

• Prepare and present quotations and financing options to customers in a clear and compelling manner

• Negotiate sales terms and close transactions whilst maintaining professionalism and integrity

• Build and maintain a customer database, fostering long-term relationships and identifying opportunities for repeat business

• Follow up with prospective and existing customers through telephone and email communication

• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team objectives

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of BMW products, pricing, specifications, and available options

• Comply with dealership policies, automotive industry regulations, and customer protection legislation

• Collaborate with finance, administration, and service teams to ensure smooth transaction completion

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a Sales driven field, not necessarily in the Automotive Industry

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers

• Self-motivated and results-driven with a professional approach to customer service

• An ability to acquire technical knowledge about vehicles

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer enquiries

• Proficiency in using or willing to gain knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, as required by the dealership

• Knowledge of motorcycles would be an additional advantage.
