Delivery Driver

The Role 

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Delivery Driver who likes variety in their workday. You will be delivering products and orders to our internal and external customers within the Adelaide Metropolitan area. 

You have excellent customer service experience, can operate autonomously with a friendly nature. The nature of the fast-paced industry requires flexible people who can adapt quickly and think on their feet.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Store Manager your key duties will include:

• Delivery of products and stock to customer locations and internal retail stores
• Inter store transfers of stock and products
• Delivery of orders to our B2B and online retail customers 
• General duties, including loading and unloading of products and house keeping
• Administration duties as required
• Ensure vehicle is picked up and dropped off on-site between business working hours and maintained in safe working order
• Knowledge of safe product handling/lifting

Skills / Experience / Qualifications:

To be considered for the position you will:

• 1 -2 years' experience in a similar role
• Calm/non-aggressive driving skills 
• Have a valid C Class driver license and a clean driving record
• Experience in a freight/delivery environment including, loading & unloading, multi drop deliveries
• Knowledge of managing PODs and delivery run manifests
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Good organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively
• Reliable, hardworking and responsible
• Willingness to undertake regular drug and alcohol company tests
