About Us 

Avenues Montessori Children’s House is an Exceeding service and operates within long day care hours to support the families and children of Bowen Hills, Brisbane Australia and surrounding areas.

The Opportunity

We provide our team with the opportunity to develop their professional skills through workshops, mentoring programs and offering consistent support staff for programming coverage. We also offer in-house training to ensure consistency of practice and approaches to the Montessori Philosophy throughout our environments. Our team have time allocated outside of programming time for community meetings, mentoring sessions, material making and classroom support.

About the Role

As our 3–6 Montessori Guide, you will:

• Lead an authentic Montessori Children's House environment.

• Foster independence, curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

• Work collaboratively within a supportive and experienced teaching team.

• Contribute to a culture where every child is valued, respected, and encouraged to thrive.

Essential Requirements

• A recognised Montessori 3–6 Diploma.

• A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or Australian equivalent).

• Current Working with Children Check and relevant first aid certifications.

• Permanent Resident or Citizen/Partner Visa (Sponsorship unavailable)
