Assembler

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in panel board assembly who can work efficiently with regular supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels and switchboards.
• Perform diagnostic wiring and troubleshooting activities as required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly plans.
• Operate press and clamping equipment safely and effectively.
• Complete assembly tasks in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections throughout the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with panel board or switchboard assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and plans.
• Basic knowledge and experience using hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
