About the role

We have a full-time position available for a Solicitor in our Armidale office. The role will include the following practice areas:

• wills and estates;

• estate litigation;

• conveyancing;

• commercial law (predominantly leasing);

• family law; and

• general law.

Qualifications & experience

The role can be tailored to suit applicants with the following qualifications and experience:

• junior lawyer with experience in a few of the areas of practice; or

• experienced solicitor practicing in some areas of this law already looking for a change and to develop their own areas of practice.

About you

The successful applicant will have: 

• experience in or an interest to learn multiple areas of law;

• the ability to work autonomously;

• excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal issues to individuals and groups;

• experience in Microsoft Office and PEXA systems; and

• well-developed self-management and organisational skills.
