About the role
Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is an established and well-respected pathology practice offering comprehensive, high-quality pathology services across New South Wales and northwest Victoria. Position description
We’re seeking an enthusiastic staff member to join our fast-paced Administration team in the Histology Department. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include performing a wide range of histology administrative tasks :
Coordinate histopathology testing requests, including preparing and dispatching samples and slides.
Liaise with pathologists, laboratories, external clients and research teams to support diagnostic and research testing, ensuring accurate documentation and timely case management.
Maintain laboratory records, billing and administrative activities, while providing efficient phone and email support to internal and external stakeholders.
Ideal candidate

Previous experience in an administration or similar role
Full time, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm
Excellent phone manner and strong computer skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
We are close to public transport, secure onsite parking is available, plus other company benefits, including an onsite wellness centre, Fitness Passport.
