About the Role 

Hewitt Foods is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to supervise and support the day-to-day activities of our production team in West Gosford. In this frontline leadership role, you will coordinate workflow, drive production performance, maintain quality standards, and champion a strong safety culture. Working closely with the Production Supervisor, you will lead by example, support team development, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead, motivate and support production employees across designated production areas.  
• Coordinate daily workflows and labour allocation to achieve production schedules and KPIs.  
• Promote and enforce safe work practices, SOP compliance, and housekeeping standards.  
• Monitor product quality, minimise waste, and identify opportunities for operational improvement. 
• Complete production documentation and communicate operational outcomes and risks to management.  

About You 

You are a confident and hands-on leader with experience working in a production, manufacturing, or food processing environment. You thrive in fast-paced operations, enjoy developing people, and are passionate about achieving team results. With strong communication and problem-solving skills, you can balance operational priorities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance.  

You Will Bring 

• Demonstrated leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, food processing, or similar operational environment, with the ability to lead, coach and support team members. 
• Proven experience working to production targets and KPIs.  
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management capabilities.  
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.  
• Basic computer literacy and experience completing reports and production records.
