Hospitality Research Assistant

Canford is looking for a new team member!

We specialise in hospitality and liquor licensing projects throughout Perth and Western Australia. Canford has been in operation for 20 years, and is a trusted brand for food and beverage operators.

Our scope of services include:

• Liquor licence applications (including public interest assessments)

• Hospitality Development Applications

• Feasibility studies and market research

• Hospitality Project Management

• Design Project Briefs

• Expression of Interest Campaigns

• Food and Beverage Planning and Business Evaluation

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a consulting role (preferred but not essential)

• Previous experience in a research related role (preferred but not essential)

• Previous experience in account management

• Full time or Part time applicants

• Excellent Microsoft Word ability & written English skills

• Exceptional organisational skills

• High attention to detail and strong research capabilities

• University education is preferred, but not required

Your role:

• Assisting in the completion of liquor licence applications on behalf of clients from start to finish

• Taking on research tasks for Council and liquor licence applications

• Assist in the preparation of planning documents, reports, and presentations. 

• Liaising/maintaining good relationships with all relevant Councils throughout WA

• Liaising/maintaining good relationships with the Liquor Licensing department

• Conducting demographic reports

• Performing admin and general office duties
