Event Manager

Veritas Events is a full-service engagement agency. We provide creative solutions and delivery of end-to-end brand and event experiences worldwide. Working with major international brands and corporations, we produce premium business events, product launches, conferences, and incentive programs.
Based at North Sydney we are looking for an experienced Event Manager who can hit the ground running.You will be part of a fast-paced, fun-loving team working with industry leading clients.
About the role: The successful candidate must at least 5 years event management experience, exceptional interpersonal skills, extreme detail and be highly skilled in the following areas:Managed all aspects of medium scale events (up to 500 people)Hands on event manager, both pre-event and onsiteEvent logistics and event marketing strategiesOutstanding attention to detailBudget managementEvent supplier relationshipsAdvanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Wordpress and registration platforms such as Events Air, Cvent and Aventri, Canva presentation and proposal skills)Strong written and verbal communication skills Event production experience (preferred but not essential)Demonstrates ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and an understanding of social media areprerequisites for this role.
With drive, motivation and energy, you will be responsible for delivering on the following:The ability to 'hit the ground running' managing end-to-end event programsDevelop and manage strong relationships with client leadership teams to ensure all event objectives are metEnsure events are aligned with client business prioritiesOverall financial responsibility for the approved budgetLead medium events including conferences, roadshows, incentives and product launches both locally and internationally Lead partner agencies and internal team members where appropriate to execute all communication activities (marketing materials, advertising, social media, internal communications, direct mail, marketing campaigns, etc.)Drive internal communications to raise awareness and ensure program objectives are successfully met within the Veritas Events team through cross-functional collaborationUndertake marketing evaluation activities including customer surveys, evaluation, measurement and ROI calculationsProvide marketing analysis and reporting for the purpose of feedback and identifying opportunities for continuous improvementOversee and manage third party agencies partnering with Veritas Events on each projectProduce event timelines and execute project deliverables to the existing timeline
