Maintenance Superintendent

About the Role

JBS Dinmore is seeking a people-focused Maintenance Superintendent to join our team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Plant Engineer, this leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of the site and leading a highly skilled team of maintenance professionals. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability and performance of plant equipment, supporting production outcomes through effective maintenance planning, fault finding, repair activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

As the Maintenance Superintendent, you will drive a proactive maintenance culture with a strong focus on safety, operational efficiency and team performance. Working closely with the Plant Engineer, you will ensure maintenance resources are effectively coordinated to meet operational demands, respond to equipment breakdowns, minimise downtime and identify opportunities to improve plant reliability. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, contribute to key engineering and maintenance initiatives, and make a significant impact on the ongoing success of one of Australia's leading food manufacturing operations.

About You

• Established and experienced trades background either within mechanical or electrical

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills

• Strong organisational and planning skills

• Demonstrated efficiency with computers and MS Office packages

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to be dynamic and responsive

• Ability to build effective professional relationships with various production departments

• Strong attention to detail
