About the Role
The Discipline of Pharmacy, located within the School of Clinical and Health Sciences, is looking to temporarily fill a Practitioner-Teacher role for a period of 12 months.
The Practitioner-Teacher provides valuable practice-based insights and learning experiences that enhance students' exposure to contemporary community pharmacy practice and support their readiness for professional practice. To facilitate this, the incumbent is expected to contribute to learning and teaching in the Master of Pharmacy by:
• Inputting into the development of the curriculum and specific subjects, as well as the development of supporting teaching resources and materials.
• Participating in campus-based teaching activities, such as lectures, tutorials, workshops, practical, and online modules, and assessments as required.
About You
To be successful in the role, you will need to have:
• A degree in Pharmacy and current registration with AHPRA as a pharmacist.
• Experience as a registered pharmacist in community pharmacy practice in Australia, including delivering professional pharmacy services.
• High level interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, teaching, development and delivery in Pharmacy at undergraduate or postgraduate level.

Remuneration
Base Salary Range: $97,955 to $119,303 per annum pro rata (Academic Level A)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is part time (0.2FTE - 1 day per week) and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 12 months (parental leave backfill). The successful candidate will be expected to work onsite on Fridays at the UTS Broadway Sydney campus.
