Registered Nurse, Operating Theatre - Talent Pool

As a Registered Nurse in our Operating Theatre team at Princess Alexandra Hospital, you will provide safe, compassionate and person-centred care across a busy 23-theatre tertiary service. In this role, you will:

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care in Instrument and Circulating roles.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised perioperative nursing care.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

You are a Registered Nurse who is passionate about perioperative nursing and committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care. You will bring:

• Operating Theatre experience, at least 12 months' experience in Instrument and/or Circulating roles.
• Clinical expertise, strong assessment, critical thinking, prioritisation and decision-making skills.
• Teamwork & communication, the ability to work effectively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.

The Process:

This Talent Pool collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future casual and temporary opportunities. The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
