Joinery Draftsman / Cabinet Designer

About us

We are a well-established, fast-growing custom joinery manufacturer based in Wetherill Park, delivering premium residential, multi-residential and commercial projects across NSW. Design, manufacture and installation are all kept in-house — CNC machining, precision edgebanding and a team of experienced joiners and installers under one roof. Our work spans government housing, retail and commercial fit-outs, and high-end residential joinery for established builders and developers.

The role

We're expanding and looking for an experienced draftsman to take ownership of our drafting and production documentation. You'll turn architectural plans, site dimensions and client briefs into shop drawings and cut lists that go straight to the floor.

We're after someone who can run projects with minimal supervision, pick up errors before they reach the workshop, and speak directly with builders and clients.

What you'll be doing

• Producing detailed shop drawings and production documentation for custom cabinetry and joinery

• Generating cut lists, hardware schedules and CNC-ready files

• Reviewing architectural drawings and conducting site measures

• Liaising with builders, project managers, clients and our production team

• Selecting materials, finishes and hardware in line with the design intent and budget

• Managing revisions and keeping documentation accurate through to installation

What you'll bring

• Minimum 3 years' drafting experience in custom joinery or cabinetmaking

• Strong working knowledge of joinery drafting software and 2D/3D detailing

• Solid understanding of board materials, hardware systems and manufacturing tolerances

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings

• Familiarity with the National Construction Code and Australian joinery standards

• Confident communicator who can hold their own with builders on site

• Australian working rights and a current driver's licence
