About the Role

Iris Life Care is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Female Domestic Cleaners to join our growing team across Canberra.

In this role, you will provide domestic cleaning support to clients in their homes, helping maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment. This is a flexible casual position suitable for individuals who enjoy meaningful work and supporting others in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform domestic cleaning duties including:
• Vacuuming and mopping
• Dusting and wiping surfaces
• Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
• Laundry and linen changes
• General household tidying
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Support clients respectfully within their home environment
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently and professionally
• Report any concerns or hazards to the management team
• Work collaboratively with the wider support team
• Be flexible to travel to different client locations as required

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in domestic or residential cleaning
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• A reliable, respectful, and professional approach
• Well-developed English communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability for flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends
• Candidates working under ABN arrangements will be preferred

Mandatory Requirements

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card
• Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
• Police Check
