CFA's suite of Specialist Capability Plans set the strategic direction for developing and sustaining specialist response capabilities over the next decade, ensuring we are well prepared for the challenges of today and tomorrow.
As the Project Lead – Specialist Capability Planning and Delivery, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our specialist emergency response capabilities. You will help ensure CFA's specialist rescue disciplines continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of our communities, through the delivery of priority projects as well as reporting and assurance processes.
In this newly created role, you will lead the delivery of priority projects, work collaboratively with internal departments and senior leaders, as well as CFA districts and brigades, to embed these plans into broader organisational planning, investment and budgeting processes. Through effective governance, reporting and assurance, you will help drive informed decision-making and deliver meaningful outcomes for volunteers, emergency responders and the wider community.
This position offers options for flexible work locations for the successful candidate.
About You
You are a dynamic and collaborative project professional who enjoys turning plans into action and working with diverse stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes. With an inquisitive approach you thrive in complex environments, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a detailed focus on quality, governance and continuous improvement.
Ideally you will bring:
A full driver's licence is required for regional travel at times. A CFA pool car is available for this purpose.
