Industrial Packer

Plascorp is one of Australia's leading privately owned Manufacturing and Distribution companies specialising in Industrial Ducting, Mine Ventilation, PVC Pipe and Steel re-enforcing solutions.

This role involves managing daily stock movements, efficiently loading and unloading delivery trucks, and maintaining overall organisation and cleanliness in the yard. You'll play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the smooth operation of yard activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all stock is located and stored correctly,

•  Picking and packing stock ready for delivery,

•  Rotate stock on an ongoing basis,

•  Ensure stock is in a saleable condition,

•  Load/Unload containers, Trucks-Rigid and Semi-Trailers,    

•  Ensure the forklift is always maintained and in proper working order,

• Keep store areas clean and well organised at all times.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Previous experience in a similar position,

• Minimum 2 + years of previous experience in a similar yard hand or warehouse position,

• A current forklift license (LF basic) is required,

• High level of enthusiasm and initiative,

• Good communication skills,

• Basic/Moderate level of physical fitness required for this role,

• A positive, 'can-do' attitude and enjoy working proactively as part of a team,

• Candidates must possess full Australian working rights.

• Must also successfully pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug screening prior to starting.
