Casual Bus Driver – Mansfield

Fallons Bus Service is looking for a casual / on-call Relief School Bus Driver to join our team in the Mansfield Region.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work occasionally and help us out when needed, without the commitment of a regular roster.

You might be called on to cover a school bus run when one of our regular drivers is away, take an occasional extra shift or help out at short notice.

If you're available from time to time and happy to jump in when you can, we'd love to hear from you!

As a Relief School Bus Driver, you'll provide cover for our regular school bus drivers when required.

This may include:

• Morning and/or afternoon school bus runs

• Covering planned driver leave

• Last-minute relief when a driver is unavailable

• Occasional charter, route or other driving work where available

There is no expectation that you will be available every day. We understand that your availability may change from week to week.

Simply let us know when you're available and we'll contact you when relief work comes up.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and responsible

• Safety-focused and professional

• Comfortable working independently

• Friendly and approachable with students and families

• Flexible and happy to help when you're available

You will need:

• A current Medium Rigid (MR) Licence or higher

• A Driver Accreditation Certificate (preferred), or willingness to obtain one

• A current Victorian Working with Children Check

No previous bus driving experience? That's okay. Previous bus experience is desirable but not essential, and we can provide support to suitable applicants through the accreditation process.
