Earlyrise Baking Co is looking for a Bakery Assistant & Cleaner to join our Production Team in Dubbo. This role is essential in ensuring our production areas, equipment and facilities remain clean, safe and ready to support bakery operations.

About the Role

In your role as a Bakery Assistant & Cleaner, your key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:

• Measure, mix and bake our range of cake and pastry products

• Operate and control manual, semi-automatic and automatic machines from mixers, dispensers and ovens.

• Cleaning food production areas, amenities, equipment, machinery and workstations to maintain hygiene and food safety standards.

• Operating cleaning equipment and using chemicals in accordance with safety procedures.

About You

• While not mandatory, an AQF qualification in Baking or a related food production qualification would be highly regarded;

• An understanding of Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards;

• Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain high standards of quality in work.

• Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (maximum 25kg).

Orana DAMA Sponsorship Available

Qualified and/or experienced salary starting from $68,864.00 - $71,480.70 as per award rates and shift allowances and in line with experience.

Sponsorship under the Orana DAMA is available for the right candidate. If you're not a permanent resident, please include your visa status and reasons for wanting to live regionally in your application.
