About the role
Join the Office for Research (OfR) at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and play a key role in enabling high-quality clinical research that improves patient care. Working within a collaborative, multifunctional Research Office, you will support the delivery of human research ethics and governance services across one of Australia's leading public health services, partnering with researchers, clinicians and commercial sponsors across the Parkville Precinct.
As the Operations Lead, Governance Office, you will provide operational leadership to the Governance Office, supporting the Manager with day-to-day operations, continuous improvement initiatives and strategic projects. You will oversee the delivery of research governance approvals for commercial and non-commercial research, work closely with functional leaders across the Office for Research to achieve organisational objectives, and foster a responsive, customer-focused service that enables innovative research to thrive.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinical research professional looking to take the next step towards management while developing leadership capability, expanding stakeholder partnerships and contributing to a progressive team shaping the future of clinical research at RMH.
