About the role
Robinvale District Health Services' is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team in Robinvale, Victoria. This full-time role is crucial in supporting the health and wellbeing of our local community. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with patients to develop and implement tailored treatment plans, assisting them to regain independence and improve their quality of life.
What you'll be doing
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' physical, cognitive and functional abilities
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address each patient's unique needs and goals
Provide hands-on therapy, such as exercise programs, to help patients regain and improve their daily living skills
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care and ensure a holistic approach
Provide education and support to patients, families and carers to promote self-management and independence
Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in line with professional and organisational standards
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Minimum 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a healthcare or community setting
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
Proficient in using technology and computer systems to support clinical practice
