About the role
Develop your career with Sunshine Coast Health in southeast Queensland which extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.
We're excited to welcome these new Social Work positions to our acute wards at Sunshine Coast University Hospital within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
An acute hospital Social Worker delivers high level services to patients within a fast-paced acute environment, delivering comprehensive psychosocial assessment, intervention, and discharge planning across a broad range of presentations. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role supports patients experiencing acute illness, functional and cognitive decline, chronic health conditions, and significant psychosocial complexity.
Key Responsibilities
Remuneration value up to $13• 567 p.a., comprising salary between $80 015 - $116 189 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $40.35 - $58.59 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (full time and part time positions available). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
