Operator - Transfer Station

Auburn NSW Afternoon Shift 2PM start – Monday to Friday (weekend work available)Full-time Permanent role

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled Operator to join our team at our Auburn Transfer Station.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone heavy machinery experience keen to contribute to essential waste operations that support the local environment. Some of the responsibilities are as below.

Operate machinery (Forklift – essential; excavators and bulldozers – preferred or willing to learn)Assist drivers and the public with correct load placementLoad and move dry waste for compaction and coverageSafely operate vehicles and equipment in line with proceduresAssist with general housekeeping dutiesMaintain a professional image and always deliver high quality customer service

Plant Operator ticketsStrong work ethic and reliable attendanceGood mechanical aptitude and committed to safetyAble to work independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude and good communication skillsWiliness to assist co-workers as requiredIntermediate computer skills
