Senior Accounts Payable Officer

Role Summary

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Process invoice coding, payment runs, journals, and reconciliations with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain effective Accounts Payable policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, providing responsive support and issue resolution.
• Support the Finance team with reporting, administration, and continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Establishing new suppliers within our systems, including updates to payment information and filing AP related documents
• Providing guidance to internal stakeholders on AP processes and systems
• Ensuring that expenses are allocated correctly and that reimbursements are processed efficiently
• Monitoring the overall accounts payable function to ensure that payments are being processed appropriately depending on agreed payment terms

This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis, and is located out of our new and modern West Perth office.

Skills, Attributes and Experience

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Strong communication skills, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.     

Key Criteria:

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly regarded.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently with accuracy.
• Resilient, adaptable, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
