As a Senior Building Surveyor within our Development Services team, you'll play an important role in managing Council's fire safety and building certification responsibilities across a broad range of developments.
You will assess complex construction certificate applications, complying development certificates and occupation certificates, while conducting critical stage inspections across all classes of buildings. You will also undertake fire safety audits, investigate fire safety complaints and assist the fire safety team to resolve complex fire safety issues.

Success in this role means balancing sound technical expertise with exceptional customer service, delivering timely, practical solutions, mentoring team members and ensuring Council's certification services remain compliant, innovative and customer-focused.
