Cybersecurity Services is a specialist team within Digital Services, responsible for protecting the technology, information and digital services that support healthcare delivery across Tasmania. Working in a complex and evolving environment, the team provides strategic leadership, expert advice, operational security services and innovative solutions that help safeguard critical systems and information. As the Senior Manager - Cybersecurity Services, you will lead the strategic direction, delivery and continuous improvement of the Department's cybersecurity function. You will provide expert advice to senior executives, drive the implementation of cybersecurity initiatives, and lead a high-performing team responsible for protecting critical technology and information assets. The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services. Additionally, it provides community health, mental health, and primary healthcare services to the Tasmanian community through more than 300 sites.

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you are able to join our Team!

Whilst flexible work arrangements are available, this position requires a Tasmanian-based presence.

$144,169 to $153,844 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in business management, ICT, information management or a cybersecurity related discipline
• A security clearance of Negative Vetting 1 (Secret), or the ability to obtain one
