About the role

Links House is seeking a talented Chef - Breakfast to join our culinary team on a casual basis. Based in Bowral, NSW, this role offers the opportunity to create memorable breakfast experiences for our guests whilst working in a dynamic hospitality environment. As a Breakfast Chef, you will be instrumental in setting the tone for guests' days, crafting quality breakfast dishes that showcase excellent technique and presentation. This position plays a vital role in delivering the high standards that define the Links House experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes to order, including cooked breakfasts, fruit and other breakfast items, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation

• Maintain clean, organised and safe kitchen practices, adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards

• Manage breakfast station setup, ensuring all ingredients, tools and equipment are prepared and available before service

• Work efficiently during breakfast service periods to meet guest expectations and delivery times

• Collaborate with front-of-house staff members to ensure seamless service delivery

• Respond to special dietary requirements and guest requests with professionalism and creativity

• Maintain kitchen equipment in good working order and report any maintenance issues promptly

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a breakfast chef or in a breakfast kitchen within a hospitality setting

• Strong knowledge of breakfast cuisine, cooking techniques and menu execution

• Excellent food safety and hygiene practices

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service periods

• Attention to detail with a commitment to consistent quality and presentation

• Flexibility and adaptability to work casual shifts as required. 20 hours+ perweek

• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences through quality food preparation

• Experience in a similar hospitality venue or boutique hotel environment is highly valued
