Warehouse & Distribution Leader

As Warehouse & Distribution Leader in Port Pirie, you’ll coordinate terminal, warehouse and people-related activities onsite to ensure operational requirements, customer needs and safety standards are met.
About the role: Coordinate terminal resources, staff and subcontractor activities to meet operational and customer requirementsManage processes, systems and procedures to support safe and efficient operationsSupport people-related activities including performance, coaching and continuous improvementBuild effective working relationships with internal teams, customers and external stakeholdersEnsure dangerous goods, environmental and WHS requirements are managed in line with regulationsCoordinate maintenance checks and follow-up actions for terminal plant and equipment
About You:We’re looking for an organised and practical leader with logistics experience, strong customer focus and the ability to coordinate work across a busy terminal environment.Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a logistics environmentPrevious experience in large-scale logistics or a heavy industrial organisationStrong organisational skills and ability to coordinate operations in a team environmentKnowledge of statutory requirements, policies and operational standardsStrong customer service, communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to influence, negotiate and support diverse work groupsComputer skills and confidence using operational systemsAnalytical and problem-solving skills to support continuous improvement
