Export Cartage Coordinator

Sidelink Transport is one of Victoria`s fastest growing wharf transport companies. Located in Truganina in Melbourne's west, Sidelink boast one of the largest fleet of Sideloaders in Melbourne as well as a variety of standard trailers and HPFV Combinations. 

We are currently seeking an experienced individual with strong export and wharf knowledge to join our team.

Reporting directly to the Key Account Supervisor, you will play a critical role in coordinating export containers, managing deliveries from empty depots through to client deliveries and final lodgement at Melbourne wharf terminals.

Responsibilities include: 

• Assist the Key Account Supervisor with day-to-day operational tasks and priorities.

• Accurately enter, update, and manage client bookings within Freight Tracker.

• Liaise directly with our clients

• Proactively chase empty releases & PRAs

• Ensure containers meet export vessel cut off

• Plan and secure wharf timeslots through 1-stop

• Adjust timeslots when required to meet client demands

• Manifest wharf vehicles through 1-stop

The successful candidate must have:

• Demonstrated knowledge of Workplace health and safety

• Proven experience in wharf transport with a strong understanding of export logistics processes.

• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with 1-Stop VBS.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced  environment

• High attention to detail, resilience, and patience to navigate changing priorities

• Experience with Freight Tracker preferred

6.30am - 4.30pm Mon-Friday (Saturday WFH rotation)
