Looking for a role that gets you out on the road but keeps you local — and lets you be the friendly face behind something everyone loves: freshly baked goods?

Earlyrise Baking Co is seeking two reliable Local Delivery Drivers (Van) to join our growing team on a casual basis in Tamworth.

This role offers regular shifts 2 days per week, with the flexibility to provide additional coverage as a backup driver when required. You'll be responsible for delivering our freshly baked products to customers across the region, ensuring every delivery is completed safely, accurately and on time.

🕒 Shift Details

• 2 days per week

• 4:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• Additional shifts may be available to cover planned and unplanned absences.

About the Role

In your role as a Local Delivery Driver, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Delivery (Van) – Safely delivering freshly baked and packed products to local customers, including loading and unloading bakery items involving lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 25 kg.

• Customer Service - providing excellent customer service, answering queries on the run, and passing on customer feedback or complaints to the appropriate personnel.

• Route & Time Management – Following delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries across the local area.

• Cleaning – assisting with daily end-of-shift cleaning of the vehicle to maintain fleet standards.

About You

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar driving or delivery role;

• Hold a valid C Class (Car) licence and are comfortable driving a delivery van;

• While not mandatory, a Forklift licence would be highly regarded;

• An understanding of Food Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and HACCP standards;

• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and maintaining high-quality work standards;

• Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (maximum 25 kg).
