About This Role

Turn complex data into clear insights that support justice reporting.Build reliable datasets, reports and dashboards for public and internal use.Use modern data tools while working with large justice datasets.Help improve how important crime and corrections data is shared.Ongoing, full-time role earning $100,894 - $114,476 per year, plus super.

What You Will Do

As data analyst, you will develop and analyse data for crime and corrections reporting. You will turn complex data into clear, useful information.

You Will

develop high-quality data products using justice and policing databuild and maintain databases and turn data into statistical productscreate clear reports, visualisations and other ways to present datamanage data requests and provide helpful service to people who need informationmaintain accurate records, check data quality and improve data processes.

About You

A relevant qualification is highly desirable but not mandatory. This may include data science, statistics, criminology, psychology or another quantitative field.

You Should Also Have

strong data skills for working with, linking and analysing large datasetsexperience with data tools such as SQL, AWS RedShift, Power BI, R or Tableauclear communication skills for presenting data through reports, presentations and visualisationssound judgement to solve problems, adapt to change and improve how work gets done.
