Due to continued growth, they're seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive sales across New South Wales, strengthen distributor relationships and identify new market opportunities.

The Opportunity:
Reporting to the State Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and growing distributor relationships throughout New South Wales while identifying specification opportunities and increasing market share.
Working closely with the Business Development, Projects and Technical teams, you'll support projects from specification through to order, becoming a trusted partner to distributors, consultants, contractors and key customers.

This role also offers a genuine career pathway into a Territory Lead position as you demonstrate commercial success and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of distributor relationships across New South Wales.
• Develop strategic account plans to achieve and exceed territory sales targets.
• Identify and convert specification opportunities alongside the Business Development team.
• Deliver product presentations, technical training and ongoing support to distributor partners.
• Monitor distributor performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Provide market intelligence, competitor insights and customer feedback to support business strategy.
• Represent the business at industry events, networking functions and customer meetings.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered seamlessly from specification through to completion.

About You:

You'll be a commercially driven sales professional with a passion for building long-term relationships and delivering results.
You'll ideally have:

• 5-7 years' experience within the Commercial, Retail or architectural lighting industry.
• Strong understanding of distributor networks and B2B sales environments.
• A proven history of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience working with architects, consultants, contractors or electrical wholesalers.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work autonomously.
• Strong organisational and territory management skills.
• A current Australian Driver's Licence.
