About the role

As an Electrical Service Technician, you'll play an important role in designing, maintaining and supporting the energy solutions industries depend on.

Based in Karratha, you'll provide servicing, fault finding, repairs and technical support on a range of electrical power generation equipment across customer sites and our workshop. Working alongside experienced technicians and specialists, you'll develop your expertise while supporting customers across critical industries that rely on dependable power solutions.

This is an opportunity to build your technical capability while working with advanced equipment, evolving technologies and some of the most experienced professionals in the industry.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing electrical servicing, fault finding and repairs on diesel and gas generators, switchboards and control systems
• Commissioning, maintaining and testing power generation equipment in the field and workshop
• Diagnosing electrical and control system issues and delivering effective solutions
• Providing technical support and building strong customer relationships across the region
• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and compliance in all work activities

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who brings both capability and a collaborative mindset.

Required:

• Electrical trade qualification
• Current Electrical Licence
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capability
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with customers and team members

Highly regarded:

• Experience working with generators, controls or electrical power systems
• Previous field service or industrial electrical experience
• Exposure to power generation, mining, energy or heavy industrial environments
