Retail Sales – Pumping & Irrigation (Full Time)

Location: Armidale, NSW — must be based in or willing to relocate to Armidale Salary: $58,000 – $76,000 (based on experience) + Super and overtime. Hours: Full Time, 40 hrs/week, Monday–Friday, plus rotating Saturday mornings Start: Immediate start is available

Armidale Pumps & Irrigation has been part of the New England community since 1989 — we're a proud, family-run business helping locals with all their pumping and irrigation needs, from backyard gardens to big rural properties. We're known for our friendly service, and we want to keep it that way!

We're on the hunt for a bubbly, confident team member to join our front-of-house crew — someone with a big smile and an even bigger personality, ready to chat with customers over the counter, on the phone, and make every single one feel welcome.

What You'll Be Doing

• Bringing your energy and enthusiasm to every customer interaction — sales, quoting, and genuinely loving the chat along the way

• Being the friendly, welcoming face (and voice!) of our store — counter, phone and email

• Keeping the shop looking sharp — stocking shelves, receiving goods, general tidy-up

• Getting out and about with deliveries, spreading good vibes along the way

• Building real relationships with our customers — the kind where they ask for you by name

• Joining the team for Saturday mornings every few weeks on a rotating roster

A Bit About You

• You've got a naturally bubbly, warm personality — you love people and it shows

• You're upbeat, friendly, and bring good energy to the team every day

• A great communicator who makes people feel comfortable and looked after

• You've got a current manual driver's licence

• You're fit and active — comfortable lifting up to 15-20 kg as part of the day

• You've got your forklift ticket, or you're happy to get one

• Bonus points if you've worked with inventory or goods receival before

• You're comfortable on a computer

• You're a finisher — when you start something, you see it through
