What you will do:  

• Work closely with key stakeholders to develop effective relationships that facilitate the successful communication and implementation of Georgiou’s HSE systems  
• Ensure project teams are adequately trained to perform their HSE responsibilities and provide ongoing coaching to ensure total compliance with internal HSE systems and legislative requirements  
• Support the business in the preparation of toolbox and HSE pre-start content  
• Implements and communicates improvements and strategies in response to changes impacting HSE activities  
• Maintaining and assisting in the ongoing development of Georgiou’s HSE systems  
• Influence a positive attitude and commitment towards safety across the business  

What you are good at:  

• 6+ years' experience in the health and safety space delivery major civil infrastructure projects  
• Rail experience, TMR and QR experience is favourable 
• Demonstrated leadership experience within your team and project 
• Aside from having experience in a previous safety role with working knowledge ideally within the civil construction industry and chain of responsibility requirements. You should have demonstrated examples to showcase:  
• Thorough Knowledge of AS/NZS 4801, ISO 14001, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Act & Regulations  
• Incident Investigation experience  
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act  
• Implement a personalised brand of exemplary safety behaviour  
• Continuing to maintain the high standard of safety management policies and procedures in place.
