The team focuses on providing safe, enjoyable, and informative tours that highlight the natural environment and local wildlife. Operations are centered around delivering high-quality customer service while maintaining strong safety and environmental standards. Role Description The Operations Coordinator is a part-time, on-site position based in Cowes VIC. The role involves supporting day-to-day cruise operations, including scheduling, coordinating staff and resources. Responsibilities include handling customer enquiries and bookings, managing check-in and ticketing processes, and providing clear information to guests and crew. The Operations Coordinator assists with administrative tasks such as maintaining records, updating operational documentation, and preparing reports. The role also supports on-the-ground problem solving, liaises with internal teams and external partners, and helps ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.QualificationsStrong operations management skills, including coordination of schedules, resources, and daily workflow.Customer service and communication skills to manage enquiries, bookings, and guest interactions professionally.Analytical skills to interpret operational data, identify issues, and recommend practical improvements.Administrative assistance experience, including record-keeping, basic reporting, and use of office software.Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, tourism or hospitality environment, including the occasional weekend day and holidays as needed.Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem solving.Experience in marine, tourism, or hospitality operations is beneficial.Computer literacy and familiarity with booking or POS systems is essentialFirst Aid is a advantage
