Casual Disability Support Worker
Community Access | Capacity Building | Appointments Support
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Disability Support Workers to support female participants in the community. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working one-on-one, enjoys building rapport, and is passionate about supporting independence, capacity building, and wellbeing.

About the Role
You will provide person-centred, recovery-oriented support to participants, assisting them to engage in the community, attend appointments, and build everyday life skills.
Shift availability:
Daytime and evening shifts across weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with personal care and routines as required
Provide community access support, including attending appointments and social activities
Support capacity building, independence, and daily living skills
Monitor wellbeing, manage risk, and follow NDIS Practice Standards
Complete progress notes, incident reports, and required documentation
Great communication Skills - communicate effectively with participants, families, and the support team
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage participants through conversation and emotional support
Patience, empathy, resilience, and professionalism
Comfortable driving in Sydney Traffic and ability to navigate to unfamiliar places
Loves having a chat and enjoys being with people
Experience supporting people with intellectual disability
Confidence supporting community access and daily living tasks
A genuine commitment to making a positive difference every day
Essential Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Employee Working With Children Check
Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009)
Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks
