Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue 3 / TypeScript)

About TrendspekTrendspek builds a precision remote-inspection platform on top of high-fidelity 3D digital twins of real-world assets. Our customers inspect, annotate and report on complex infrastructure without leaving their desk, powered by an interactive geospatial canvas, a local-first data layer that works at field scale, and reporting that turns inspection into decisions. We're growing our engineering capability and investing heavily in an AI-assisted product and delivery roadmap.
The roleYou'll be a senior engineer across our core product: a demanding, browser-based application built in Vue 3 and TypeScript. The work spans real-time 3D and geospatial interfaces, offline-capable sync of large datasets, and a security-sensitive, multi-tenant platform. You'll contribute to flagship surfaces like our V3 Inspect experience and to the projects that come after it, own features end to end, make architectural calls, and set the technical bar for how we build. You'll also be one of the people helping us make AI-assisted engineering the default, not a novelty.‍What you'll work onRich, interactive product surfaces across the platform, including 3D and geospatial interfaces (tilesets, splats, synced canvases, annotation workflows) and the features we build on top of them.Our local-first data layer: client-side replication and sync (RxDB / IndexedDB), conflict resolution and offline behaviour, kept fast at scale.Performance and reliability of a large single-page application under real customer data volumes.Security-conscious frontend work in a platform that takes pen-testing, PII handling and multi-tenant access control seriously.Shipping across the boundary into our Laravel backend when a feature needs it. You're comfortable not stopping at the API line.Helping build AI into both how we work and what we ship.
What you'll doDesign, build and own significant frontend features end to end, from spec to production.Write clear technical specs and make pragmatic architectural decisions with trade-offs made explicit.Raise the quality bar across testing, code review, observability (we use PostHog for error tracking and analytics) and sensible engineering standards.Mentor other engineers and act as a technical point of reference on the inspection surface.Collaborate closely with Product and Design to turn ambiguous problems into shipped value.
Must-haveStrong commercial experience with Vue 3 and TypeScript (or deep React/TS depth with a genuine willingness to go all-in on Vue).A track record owning complex, stateful single-page applications: non-trivial state management (Pinia or equivalent), performance work, and thoughtful component architecture.Comfort with asynchronous data and client-side persistence: API integration, caching, and the realities of keeping a rich client in sync.A security- and quality-conscious mindset. You think about edge cases, auth, data exposure and failure modes, not just the happy path.AI-assisted engineering as a daily habit. You already build with tools like Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot, and you have a considered view on where AI accelerates you and where human judgement still has to lead.Senior-level communication and autonomy. You can drive a piece of work, and bring others with you.
Nice-to-have3D / WebGL / geospatial frontend experience (Three.js, Cesium, deck.gl, tilesets, point clouds or Gaussian splats).Offline-first or local-first architecture (RxDB, PouchDB, replication, IndexedDB, CRDTs).Working familiarity with a PHP / Laravel backend, or comfort being full-stack when needed.Experience with CI/CD and containerised deployment as Infrastructure as Code (Docker, Northflank or similar, pipeline automation).Experience building AI-enabled product features (LLM integration, retrieval, assistive UX).Exposure to application security practices (pen-test remediation, secure handling of PII, multi-tenant access control).
