About the role
Urgent Requirement for Energy Analyst - Amanda Energy - Perth, WA
Job responsibilities:- Retail electricity analysis in the WEM, electricity in the SWIS.- Retail gas analysis in the WA domestic gas pipeline.- Utilise and upkeep of in-house price retail models.- Analyse individual businesses consumption data to prepare prices.- Energy analysis for financial reporting.- Market research to provide insights and recommendations.- Regulatory requirements for electricity and gas retail in WA.
Required Qualifications & Experience:- Degree or certification in Energy, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Energy Systems, Data Analytics or a related discipline. - Minimum of 3 years of “energy analysis, energy consulting, or energy advisory” experience.- Proven track record in delivering complex energy analysis for commercial and industrial clients.- Experience with energy modelling or pricing tools.- Knowledge of Western Australia’s electricity and gas retail sector.- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
