Therapeutic Carer and Support Workers

About the Role

The Support Worker and Therapeutic Cares roles within the Our Way Home programme are responsible for the holistic, person-centred, and trauma-informed day-to-day care of clients. The role involves supporting the development, maintenance, and review of individual support plans in line with organisational processes, policies, care plans, and individually assessed needs.

Where this role slots in

This role supports the care team in maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive environment for clients. You will provide direct care, implement actions from support plans, and may work autonomously under team leader direction.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant qualifications or experience in youth or community services
• Experience in trauma-informed care
• Strong teamwork skills, emotional self-regulation, and the ability to create safe, consistent, and supportive environments for children and young people.
