The Opportunity:
The Technology Services Department (TSD) plays a key role in advancing Holmesglen's digital capability, delivering innovative technology solutions that support teaching, learning and business operations. Through a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, the team helps drive organisational excellence and future-ready ways of working across the Institute.
As the Data Communications Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the technology infrastructure that connects Holmesglen's campuses, systems and people. As the Institute's principal network specialist, you will provide technical leadership across a complex enterprise environment, overseeing core networking, wireless, firewalls, secure remote access and cloud connectivity services.
Working closely with technology, cybersecurity and business stakeholders, you will drive major infrastructure projects, strengthen network resilience and security, and ensure staff and students benefit from reliable, high-performing connectivity services.
This is an opportunity to influence the future direction of Holmesglen's network architecture while leading continuous improvement initiatives that support innovation, operational excellence and the Institute's strategic priorities.
