About the role

We are seeking a Junior ICT Officer to join our ICT team and provide essential day-to-day technical and administrative support across Goodwin.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their ICT career in a supportive team environment. You will assist with new starter setups, user accounts, swipe cards, basic hardware and software support, ICT documentation and the rollout and maintenance of ICT equipment.

Working closely with senior ICT team members, you will gain exposure to a broad range of ICT functions while providing responsive and professional support to our employees.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and process ICT Helpdesk new starter requests, ensuring requests are completed within applicable SLAs and in accordance with ICT policies and procedures.
• Create and maintain user accounts, swipe cards and other basic ICT access requirements.
• Log incoming Helpdesk phone calls and escalate more complex matters to senior ICT personnel as required.
• Assist new employees with their first login and the setup of basic ICT resources, including printers and other equipment.
• Assist with the rollout, installation and upgrading of physical ICT hardware.
• Maintain accurate ICT asset lists and records.
• Create and maintain ICT documentation under the direction of senior ICT team members.
• Develop and maintain user guides and other support resources.
• Provide general administrative support to the ICT team as required.

About you

You will be a motivated and reliable individual with an interest in developing your ICT skills and providing great customer service. You will have:

• Sound computer skills, particularly across Microsoft products.
• A good understanding of computer hardware, software and operating systems.
• The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Previous experience working in a busy environment.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A professional, positive and customer-focused approach.
• A high level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Essential requirements

• Current valid Australian driver's licence.
• Sound computer skills in using Microsoft based products, including the ability to type at a reasonably quick pace and a reasonable level of accuracy.
• Demonstrated Knowledge of Hardware and Software: A Junior ICT Officer should have a solid understanding of computer hardware components (such as CPUs, RAM, storage devices, etc.) and software applications (including operating systems and productivity software).
• Previous experience working in a busy environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain any clearances required to work within an aged care and/or NDIS environment, including a police background check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance where applicable.
