I am looking for a physiotherapist (new graduates welcome!) to join the team at In Balance Healthcare. This is a beautiful, 6 room, multi-disciplinary clinic located in the bustling heart of Greensborough’s shopping district located on Grimshaw Street. The clinic has an on-site rehabilitation gym space and 2 pilates reformers to offer clinical pilates.

This position is only available for Australian residents, sponsorship not available, must be on full AHPRA registration .

About the role:

• Weekly mentoring/professional development

• Experience both 1-on-1 appointments and small group rehab gym work

• Learn unique, skilled hands-on care including articulation/mobilisation, soft tissue, manipulation/HVLA, dry needling and more!

• Learn evidence-based rehabilitation, particularly in the sports and surgical realms

• Work with a great team of like-minded professionals

• Must be on an unrestricted AHPRA registration, sponsorship not available

Days/hours:

• Monday 9am-1pm, 2.30pm-6.30pm

• Wednesday 9am-1pm, 2pm-6pm

• Friday 9am-1pm, 2.30pm-6.30pm

• (I am comfortable swapping Wednesday or Friday to Tuesday/Thursday if necessary)

Who we're looking for:

• A passionate, driven and engaging physiotherapist

• Someone able to work with a patient independently in the appointment (support available outside of that time - of course!)

• Someone who can work well in a team

• A friendly, caring and empathetic practitioner

Remuneration:

• Job type: Part-time

• Pay: $35-40 per hour + bonus for exceeding KPI

• Bonus: If treating at more than 50% capacity then bonus $$ per patient applies. Exact amount is determined by your seniority as a physio but even a graduate will get a guaranteed amount.

About me:

I will be responsible for your mentoring so let me introduce myself. I am an osteopath of 9 years with a strong interest in working with athletes, in particular paediatric athletes. I coached gymnastics for 20 years and have extensive experience working with gymnasts, dancers and cheerleaders. I love hands-on treatment but I truly believe that most long-term progress is made with exercise and so I combine both to get the best results for my patients. I am passionate about teaching/mentoring and regularly run workshops and seminars for staff, sports coaches and different sporting clubs. I own 2 allied health clinics: Symmetree Osteopathy in Diamond Creek and In Balance Healthcare in Greensborough. I have 2 kids and I love spending time with them!
