Inventory Coordinator

The Drake Group is an industry-leading organisation recognised for innovation, excellence, quality, and service. We are currently seeking a motivated Inventory Coordinator to join our dedicated Procurement and Inventory Team.

Our expertise also includes the service, repair, and overhaul of heavy haulage trailers, reinforcing our reputation as a leader in the heavy haulage industry.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all stock is correctly accounted for in the system.

• Understand inventory holding cost versus production and /or sales and use the knowledge as part of all inventory decision making processes.

• Monitor stock levels and conduct regular audits to prevent discrepancies and ensure optimal stock availability.

• Drive and take ownership of the planning, implementation and performance of stocktake activities for assigned warehouse locations.

• Collaborate with various departments to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely replenishment, including accurate min and max levels.

• Prepare and present reports on inventory metrics, trends, and projections to management.

• Support in the planning and implementation of stock take activities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in a Warehouse Management System such as Pronto or SAP (WMS) and Microsoft Office 365

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
