Warehouse Administrator - Morning Shift

Berle Transport Pty Ltd is a proudly Australian, medium-sized refrigerated transport and storage company operating since 1979. We specialise in the handling and distribution of temperature-sensitive foods for large Australian FMCG companies, supplying products found in major supermarkets and households nationwide. We are seeking a Warehouse Administrator to join our close-knit team. This is a key role supporting the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our warehouse while ensuring a high standard of administrative accuracy.

About the Role

Working Monday–Friday (4:00am–Midday), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring orders, stock movements, and warehouse activities are coordinated accurately and on time. You will also maintain essential safety, HACCP, WHS and compliance files for the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Administration & Operations

• Process all customer orders accurately through the Warehouse Management System (Translogix).

• Coordinate stock movements including receipts, dispatches, put-aways, reworks, loading and unloading.

• Create despatch labels and manage transport bookings with carriers.

• Liaise with warehouse staff on order progress and operational priorities.

• Assist with the co-ordination of warehouse activities.

• Follow up on PODs and maintain accurate records in the system.

• Support pallet control including daily CHEP transfers.

• Assist with preparing weekly invoices and billing information.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Maintain and update safety, HACCP, WH&S, and compliance files.

• Ensure the warehouse maintains a safe working environment at all times.

• Support auditing processes and ensure documentation is complete and up to date.

Customer & Stakeholder Coordination

• Provide excellent customer service with timely follow-ups on enquiries.

• Communicate with internal teams to ensure seamless flow of information (transport, admin, warehouse).

• Respond to customer escalations and assist with investigations where required.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous administration, warehouse or similar experience required.

• Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems.

• WMS/ERP and pallet systems experience preferred.

• High accuracy, strong organisational skills, and excellent attention to detail.

• Intermediate Excel, solid numeracy and literacy skills.

• Strong problem-solving ability and a continuous-improvement mindset.

• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders.
