Electrical Engineer

The Role 

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer who is hands-on, motivated by problem-solving, and enjoys working in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will work closely with engineering and production teams to develop and implement practical electrical engineering solutions. You will be involved in electrical design, automation, and hands-on troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment. 

The role includes:

• Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems for industrial equipment and automation projects. 

• Develop, modify, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs and HMI applications. 

• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and technical drawings. 

• Support the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems. 

• Diagnose and resolve electrical, instrumentation, and control system faults. Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.  

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.  

• Prepare technical documentation, electrical drawings, commissioning reports, and maintenance records. 

• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, technicians, and production teams to optimize and improve the production process. 

• Liaise with suppliers to obtain information, quotations and technical documentation. 

About You:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Experience in industrial electrical or automation engineering. Graduates welcome to apply.

• Experience in manufacturing or production is advantageous.

• Solid fundamental knowledge of electrical control circuits, motor control, sensors, relays, contactors, overloads, and circuit protection devices.   

• Basic knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff or similar platforms). 

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.  

• Hands-on mechanical aptitude for machine installation and equipment assembly. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving and communication skills with attention to detail.
