About The Opportunity
We are currently partnering with a leading transport and fleet maintenance provider in Minto, NSW and are seeking a qualified Workshop Mechanic for an ongoing position with the potential for permanency.
This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and servicing on heavy vehicles, trucks, and trailers.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Perform scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailersDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faultsCarry out engine, brake, suspension, and drivetrain repairsEnsure all work meets compliance, safety, and manufacturer standardsMaintain accurate service records and documentationSupport workshop operations, including parts checking and vehicle movementAssist with breakdown response when requiredMaintain a clean, safe, and compliant workshop environmentSupport and mentor apprentices where required
Qualifications & Experience
Trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsExperience working with trucks, trailers, or mixed fleetsHR licence (desirable)Strong commitment to workplace safetyAbility to work independently and within a team
