What you’ll be doing:
The NSW Rural Fire Service is looking for an Operational Officer Level 2 to join the District Learning and Development team in the Lower Hunter.
In this role, you will help plan, coordinate and support training for RFS members, ensuring volunteers and staff have the skills, qualifications and confidence to respond safely and effectively to bush fires and other emergencies.
You will play an important role in building volunteer capability, supporting local training programs and helping brigades remain equipped, trained and ready to respond.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, approachable and confident working with volunteers, staff and stakeholders across the District. You will have strong coordination skills, good attention to detail and the ability to manage training schedules, records and competing priorities. You will also be comfortable communicating with a wide range of people and providing practical advice and support.
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be highly regarded:
