About the role

Hughes Corporation is seeking an organised and motivated Logistics Supervisor Scheduler to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced transport environment and enjoys coordinating people, vehicles, and freight.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate daily truck movements and deliveries

• Allocate drivers and vehicles efficiently

• Liaise with customers, drivers, and supervisors to ensure timely service

• Monitor job progress and respond to scheduling changes

• Maintain compliance with fatigue management requirements, road transport legislation, and all company policies and procedures to promote safe and lawful operations

• Maintain accurate transport records and documentation

• Work closely with the operations team to maximise fleet utilisation

About you

• Previous experience in transport scheduling or logistics (preferred)

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a busy environment

• Strong computer skills and attention to detail

• Knowledge of the transport industry and heavy vehicles is an advantage

• A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities
